Ranna Puhkebaas (Ranna Holiday Camp) is situated on a 3-hectare area in the village of Ranna, Peipsiääre Parish, Jõgeva County – about 190 km from Tallinn and 55 km from Tartu. The camp is ideal for organising company summer days, reunions, surf camps, birthdays or weddings as it is located on the very shores of Lake Peipus.
The resort became popular at the beginning of the 1970s when an old granary was brought to the shore of Lake Peipus at Ranna village. Eventually, a sauna and stove-heated dining hall were constructed from it. Later, a covered events area and an open terrace in the middle were added. At that time, large get-togethers were held in Ranna village during the summertime (mostly various collectives and student bodies). To this day, many people have fond memories of the place – its beautiful beach and beachfront sauna, and of course the sun which rises from the waters of Lake Peipus acting like a natural mirror.
Our guests are welcome to use the covered events area. The L-shaped events area is large enough to fit 150 people, with a stage in the middle. The main building also includes 6 rooms for accommodating up to 24 guests.
The sauna is next to the main building on the lakefront. Heated by wood, the sauna (which was constructed from a former granary) is suitable for smaller events. The stove-heated dining hall can host 30 people and the sauna can easily accommodate 6-8 people.
The camping area is large enough to accommodate more than 300 people. Caravan owners can park directly on the lawn, with an access to electricity, toilets and drinking water. We can provide electricity for up to 10 caravans or camper trailers.
For those who prefer active holidays, there is a volleyball court and ball playing area in the camping area.
