Kargaja Kuke campsites and saunas

Kargaja Kuke Sauna – a cold ice hole, a warm welcome and a hot sauna! Or if it’s an ice-free season, there’s a cold pond, a warm reception and a hot sauna:)

The village of Kargaja is located on Sibulateel in the Peipisääre, and next to it there is one such sauna, which is personally owned by Mr. Kukk. If for the last 50 years, sauna heating has been practiced privately, now the sauna doors are also open to all guests. A smoke sauna and a Finnish steam sauna with a rest room await you, the group size can be a maximum of 12 people. The goodness of the saunas and the warmth of the family is also confirmed by the fact that the Kargaja Kuke Sauna has been chosen as the best sauna at the Sibulatee saunafest for several years.

If there is a desire, the family also covers the table with good and better food. And if you want to make something with your own hands, together with the hostess you can make a body scrub, a face mask, or make sauna sheets together instead (in spring and summer).

Three 4-person campsites have been completed for tired sauna-goers or those who just want to spend the night on Sibulatee.

Kargaja Kuke saunas are 33 minutes away from the center of Tartu by car. You just need to announce your arrival early enough so that the family can start preparing.
