Peipsi Ranna – your lakeside sauna retreat on the shores of Lake Peipus

Peipsi Ranna (formerly Ranna Holiday Base) is a private getaway located in the village of Ranna, in Peipsiääre Parish – just 190 km from Tallinn and 55 km from Tartu. It’s the perfect place for hosting summer events, reunions, surf camps, birthdays, or even weddings right on the shore of Lake Peipus. But the real gem – and the main reason people keep coming back – is the cozy lakeside sauna house.

Open from autumn to spring, the sauna house is ideal for smaller groups of up to 10 people. The brand-new sauna building, fully renovated in 2023, sits directly on the lakefront. It includes a kitchenette, a spacious lounge area with a large table, and of course, a steam room with panoramic lake views. The sauna can comfortably fit up to 10 guests, and outside there’s a wood-heated hot tub. On the upper floor, up to 8 guests can stay overnight.

During the warmer months, a large covered outdoor area with a stage is available for guest use, accommodating around 150 people. In the center is a dance floor, surrounded by an L-shaped shelter. The main building offers 6 rooms with a total of 24 beds. There’s ample space for camping – up to 300 tents and more – and motorhome owners are welcome too, with grass parking areas, electricity, access to toilets, and fresh water. Peipsi Ranna can provide electricity for up to 10 camper vans. For those who enjoy active holidays, the camping area includes both volleyball and football fields.
