Homemade pastries by Vigurid

Pastries have always been a popular article on the Onion Route. We can safely say that not a day goes by without at least the onion pastries running out. The region is known for a plethora of pastry chefs and cake wizards.

Vigurid OÜ is a small family-owned business (Vigurid means ‘tricks’ or ‘twists’ in English) that offers homemade pastries with a twist. The twist, or the cherry on top, is of course the delicious and homemade taste that the family puts into all their products. The fresh products, pastries, cakes and bread are preservative-free and primarily made from local ingredients.

As Vigurid OÜ is located right by the roadside between Alatskivi and Kallaste villages, it is easy to spot. When it has something to offer, the roadside sign says “open”. In summer 2022, the sales stand was open each day, from Friday to Sunday. If you don’t want to leave it to chance, make a call and pre-order your pastries.
